Ryobi makes good batteries, good tools, and has generally good pricing. I went down the DeWalt road a couple years ago but still have a handful of Ryobi tools I love. Currently working on my chicken coop.

The first egg from our addition of six hens has arrived! The egg on the left is from Mokey, who has consistently produced perfect eggs. I’ve recently built them brand new nesting boxes inside the coop so we’re prepared.

Update: I bought a 12 pack of the Zero Sugar version today (at Walmart, ugh) and was immediately pretty impressed. I agree with @cdub77.bsky.social about the key lime flavor. It’s a nice mix and it goes well with vodka and ice. ;) Would recommend

Sometimes you’re out back late making a couple 100’ ethernet cables and you head back inside to test the connection, but there’s an adorable tree frog in the way. It’s one of those nights and I love it. Don’t worry, the cables were wired correctly and I moved the frog to a safer spot.

Next door neighbor had several chicken disappear in the past two weeks, including their rooster. Sadness. Tonight I made a 330 foot Ethernet cable, attached one end to a router in our chicken coop and ran the other end down the path to the nearest pond on our property. I refer to it as The Lake.

Curious what you container bags setup is? A kind neighbor gave us one of these giant indoor setups with lighting and water flowing every few minutes so it requires no soil. We used it last year and it was absolutely amazing! I need to build a greenhouse this next year.
