Twelve days in Crete and my clothes are getting snug. So tonight I'm eating myzithropita: feta cheese wrapped in filo pastry, baked and soaked in honey. I have no regrets. It's delicious.

RIP the gears on our rental car. A horrible surprise hour long detour across Crete due to road works meant unfamiliar roads for me to drive on. My nerves are done.
