Backgrounds are still hard but I'm learning new techniques that make them significantly less painful x.x

Random icons. Second two are my characters (Noctum and Winrey respectively)

icon of a woman with pink and black feathers and a little top hat with cards

icon of a monster that's all black save for light shining from his five eyes and mouth

icon of Noctum looking very menacing, like he's actually cool or something

icon of a blonde elf woman sneering at the camera with broken concrete and rebar as her backdrop

The actual worst and so *fucking* stupid. Fourteen-year-old me would argue the whole point of learning to draw is to make edgy shitheads like this, which is the correct take

Ugh, shit, thought I dodged the paranoia downswing prowling around the back of my brain, but apparently not 💀 Gonna keep the queue filled but uninstall the phone app to stop the dreaded doomscroll until the Mood(TM) passes. See you on the other side~

I love doing freebies, but it takes me so long to draw anything that I developed a quick(er) full-color style a couple years back. Featuring my favorite test subject (sorry Fai, mother loves you) and one of the first freebies I experimented with

full-color thigh-up sketch of Fai playing with lightning and looking smug about it

I'm so conflicted about how to tell this story. Chronological and lore-dumping don't spark joy (both are easy to work around), but every time I think a scene or even a longer arc is nailed down, I overhaul it three months later to something I like way better. Housemate teases me about redoing--

Whoops, gotta refill the queue Sometimes I get on one about drapery and build skills that never translate to my imagined work 😅 I guess it's good to know that I *can* do it, at least HA, adding alt text and forgot about that eye in the third one. Cute little beast, whatever he is

neoclassical drapery study with an eye on one section because it looked kinda like a dragon head when I drew it

A character sheet depicting a voidsent Criticality from before he made a deal with Mhach - his true form, and his form in the 13th. A tall, dark entity with faint glittering stars in its myriad tendrils and strikiing red accents. A closeup of the 'hood' revealing fangs is in the top right, and an Adra silhouette for scale in the bottom right.

Fai Stormwright is the oldest of my OCs and has the great misfortune of embodying the best and worst parts of myself at any given time. Kinda wild how many directions his character/story took over fifteen years, but no matter how far we travel from where we started, he'll always be my favorite <3

More parkour princess, whose actual name is Nottie. It was supposed to be her nickname when the title of this project was still "The Girl Named Nothing," but that whole concept eventually transferred to the antagonist. Seemed weird to change her name, though, so Nottie she remains

Medik @eyeshandsteeth.bsky.social · 15/01/2025

See? What a nice boy. Stars for freckles and everything. Also featuring the other insufferable bastard and a broken parkour princess who's pretty okay with laying claim to both

000

Medik @eyeshandsteeth.bsky.social · 14/01/2025

Behold, the most good and perfect boy and the insufferable bastard he has to babysit. Well, one of them. The other one has the decency to be funny sometimes and flaunt his admittedly nice ass all over the place

Fine Lines (project name, this is all I ever think about) has a spellweaving concept that's literally just magical programming and exists solely for Witch and her, uh, *colleague* to have incomprehensible arguments as foreplay. Also I like to draw all the glowy

Snapdragons are my favorite flower to grow. They do however produce seed pods that look like the screaming skulls of the damned.
