Seven deadly sins - envy

Envy is a slowly burning and constricted heart. It covers its identity with a mirror; the more it seeks to resemble the reflection of others the less it will resemble itself. But even the reflection is broken, inaccurate, and unsatisfactory
Many have said the concept looks like a chrysalis or a flower bud, unable to flourish. I like when people interpret my drawings, they often find beautiful meanings that escaped me
I pondered whether to paint the mirror in front of them black, to symbolize phone screens, but decided against it because it would blend into the background
Least popular design but one where people have told me ''I cant stop thinking about it'' the most, which made me cherish it a lot

Seven Deadly Sins - Wrath

Wrath is not a beast acting ravenous, but a human thing slowly crawling towards you. All of their actions are justified by the halo they claim to be righteous. The closer they get, the more they shed their humane appearance

Seven deadly sins - Pride

Pride exists inside a golden, hollow statue, unmoving and unchanging. Their empty gaze is set upon a cracked book of pages set in stone. Their laurel crown is sharpened to the point of horns. Pride can be set free if they break the outer shell that binds them with the gavel they use to condemn others.

The first depiction of Jesus and Mary

Before thousands of artworks made by hundreds of masters in the span of centuries, it’s clear that the first drawing was made by the hands of a child who just loved his mom

Seven Deadly Sins - Slotj

Sloth exists in a wrapped cloth that provides comfort but muffles all sensations. Sloth doesnt see, speak nor hear. The cloth overwhelms them. They are bound by a rope whose edge reaches inside their confinement, giving them the ability to free themselves if so desired.
Drawing of a figure wrapped in red cloth as if an uneven, large blanket. Their arms are reaching forward. The figure is tied with a rope.

Greed points at everything they want and grasps anything they can. Their true form is unseen. Their own hand partially blinds them. Different eyes puncture their crown, stolen from others. They float, detached from all. Their stick is sharpened at both ends

Seven Deadly sins - Greed

Tall floating figure made out of several layers of red cloth, being gripped by many golden hands with red cracks. They grasp a large golden stick. Their face is crowned by hands pointing in every direction. One of them covers their eye. They have pairs of different eyes stabbed through their face. Red eyes.

Thank you so much @nneezz.bsky.social for this piece of my character, Krieg! (Image description and breakdown in Alt text) #WubComms #KriegDietrich

An illustration of my oc, Krieg Dietrich, done by @nneezz!

Krieg is a brown Highlander Hyur from FFXIV (equivalent of a human man). He has amber eyes and dark brown hair with grey streaks. In the image he is posed from the waist up, standing formally as he looks off to the side.

He is dressed in ornate attire that looks like it can double as armor. While elegant, it carries symbolism of the relationship between him and two divinities.

His chest piece is dark, with golden decals that swirl with elegance but also sharp points, curling around him in an almost embrace, or grasp, type manner. His right arm that is visible is entirely clad in ornate gold armor - his arm and hand that have given other support, but also guided him in the taking of lives. The gold details symbolizes his relationship with Ultima - Mother, Maker, Ruination.

A light blue side cape drapes over his left arm. A small stripe of gold bordering the edges. The softness of the fabric contrasts heavily with the more rigged and sturdy form of the armor. The cape comes up to a high collar, where more gold details rest. Though it is less gilded, the cape provides warmth and cover, working to keep what's beneath it hidden. It symbolizes Krieg's relationship with Hydaelyn - Mother, fate, open arms

Catching the light, a long golden dangle earring hangs from Krieg's left ear. It belonged to his mother, which he took with him when he had to flee from home. It symbolizes his relationship with Neda - Mother, weight of the family, who he returns to.

Krieg Dietrich is a Councilor of Defense, and he carries the weight as he always has.

In my mind, it made sense to draw Jesus comforting Lucifer, to slice a piece off his own cloak to stop the bleeding. Two divine beings made to roam the earth. It can’t be blasphemy to draw him kind…

I can't bring myself to represent war with a cool knight. It's horror. War is a bound child crowned with shrapnel, tied to a wounded horse that is being pulled forward by unseen people

Commission art of an oc belonging to tsuwabuki on tumblr. A pale centaur with a crescent moon shaped unicorn horn is elegantly adorn in frills and laces. There are fabrics flowing like water through the dark contrasting background dappled by ornamental flowers and birds. He is missing one arm where a large bow tied in a shape reminiscent of a butterfly is.
