not being too experienced with painting non-human shaped heads, the goblin head .stl from MCDMs minis I asked for really carried me thru this and I learned a ton on these two! Fell in love with these freaks and hope I can do more expressive little gremlins for clients in the future!

Black and White sketch page for the hag goblin shown in the previous post. There are three version of her in slightly different poses and some holding a gloving staff.

Black and White sketch page for the fire mage goblin shown in the previous post. There are two versions of the same pose but with different lighting and values.

rough 3D renders of a the same two goblins with no textures but lit in a similar way the final art is.

lineart + flat colour versions of the two goblins with a gradient in the background instead of flat black.

"The plague choir, it's calling you" nat-one wis save... as a wisdom caster lmao [OCs: Petrichor + Orren ( @aghdom.eu ) in Curse of Strahd (She is the Ancient + Homebrew)]

a dark digital drawing of an undead looking half elf man strains in the grapple of a larger old paladin. He is reaching forward with a haunted look while the paladin hilds him around the middle, moth their cloaks flapping int he wind. on the right of this there are two more simple drawings of them from the side, in one he is extending out of his grasp and in the other he has slumped down.
The text on the left side of the page says "The Song" in a gothic script.

lmao we are using ireena's chicken token as a placeholder for my moonbeam

ok update, we made it but then Petr got posessed by the plague singing to him in his head as we get closer to the song's source and he walked off into the freezing cold and got a level of exhaustion before being dragged back yayyyy

thank youuu haha I turned the vrock into a turtle via polymorph and we run lol. we are playign a heavily modified version of CoS so i have no idea if this area is similar to the vanilla version tho..

found out i had my post language set to czech instead of english for a while now, maybe thats why noone has been seeing my things, oops. should be fixed now

btw, idk if you know or go there but on wednesdays there is cool lifedrawing in prague i go to sometimes, if you're ever in the office on that day and feel like checking it out its at 18:30 in the centre and the model fee is 250kč iirc

absolutely! always so glad to be asked back, one of the smoothest brief info docs and feedback turnarounds of all of my clients as well <333

010

its something i constantly battle with but think i've been gettign better at? anyway here are some process shots in case those are some insight:

rough sketches of 3 hags, both in mischevious wicked poses

two rough version of the hag art in the previous post, one with cool and one with warm ligthing

a screenshot of a Blender scene with a model of the ghost lady shaded in a ghostly effect

0192

just some hindsight thoughts: the thing i learned the most on the hag was that my tendency to overrender gets even worse when loving the subject and want to spend more time with it, but the art suffers from it, i remember this one really had me thinking i need to get better at selective looseness

cant stop drawing my darling mouldy ghoul construct robot thing [OC: Marsh (+ Child!Marsh & Child!Willow) #FruitOfSin #NewtsOCs]

bust drawing of a long haired blonde androgynous character (Marsh). the colours are sickly green/yellow on dark background. They have tattoed thorns all up their neck and three sets of spiky earrings on each side.

scratchy drawing of the same charcater, now in lighter colours, still on black background. She's smoking a cigarette in a long victorian style holder with a simple open shirt, revealing tattoed forearms and chest as well as a prosthetic pinky finger strapped to the wrist with a thin leather belt.

a rough sketch of the previous character as a teenager with another character (Willow) who has softer features and curly heair. they seem to be locking eyes as Willow is dragged up or away and Marsh seems to be submerged in liquid with tubes coming off their head.
