I dunno whether to offer custom reference for individual artists that are looking for a particular pose/lighting for their projects (presuming my body type would apply) but I dunno if that would become difficult to keep up with or if people would take the piss

And yeah, I mean, being a woman posing nude I’m fairly used to the intent/reception not aaaallllways lining up 😂 And sometimes there are images that spark something else, and you just get a flash of inspo for a whole new project.

I tend to view them separately as well. As from my perspective, nude is not necessarily erotic but not everyone feels the same. I am tempted to separate more erotic reference out from everything else as not everyone wants to trawl through smut to get to the more classic art nudes.

Thanks for taking the time to respond, appreciate it! It seems pretty common to snag images as/when they come up. The reason I asked about erotic vs classic art reference was because I thinking to separate my offerings so those that are focused on one vs the other don’t see bits they’re not after

Questions for artists. How do you find and choose reference? Do you look for specific themes, follow,specific creators? Do you prefer a separation between regular nude art reference vs erotic reference? Do you rely heavily on reference or just search it out when you struggle with a specific feature?
