"Stardew Valley, Adventurers' Guild" tatt idea. It's not as old as the first, but SDV was a milestone game for me because I was introduced to it at a time when I was starting to no longer demonize games and media and actually start to enjoy them without any guilt. Long story short: I was inspired to make this Adventurers' Guild themed tatt.

"Art is Forever". This is a redo of a design I came up with years ago, rephrased but still a sentiment I hold dearly.

"Ci-GAY-da" This year I discovered a cicada molting just outside my shed and was blown away as his carapace began to dry that he maintained his subtle colors in almost the exact arrangement as the mlm pride flag, hence the name. Struck by the profound symbolism I was immediately inspired to design this tattoo. I don't know if the pale green would even be possible but it would be really cool. All add a pic of my ci-gay-da friend too.

The photo shows a freshly molted cicada, it is pale green and has blue and green edges on its wings that resemble the gay pride flag.

To make these I threw together a collage of photos from the Old West, and just used them as a base to create furrified draw-over versions of them. I have more I'm trying to knock-out but it'll be a bit before I get back at again. Hopefully soon, though.

It goes without saying that I'm a huge Spiderman fan, and the Blue-Recluse was my self-insert back in the early nineties when I was first getting into Spiderman comics and animated series. Back then I was super inspired by the different Spidermen from their respective realities, and I made a butt-ton of my own Spidermen that were based around various gimmicks and genres. I had a cloak-wearing, sword-wielding Medieval Spiderman, an orange-and-red Spiderman who's color-scheme was based on an orb-weaver spider, and I even had my own flavor of Spider-Punk before I knew he was an actual version (the current Spider-punk, however, is way better than mine. lol)

I said I should post some of my non-furry stuff, and I figured I better make good on that before I forget again.

My Bestie-from-another-nestie got me into Brandon Sanderson's Mistborn and I was immediately hooked. It took me a fair bit to figure out how I wanted to show my love for this series, but over one of my bestie's birthdays this scene popped into my memory and made for the perfect b-day gift.

If you know the scene and character you'll understand the pun that is the title "Vindictive".

If you like the idea of metal-based superpowers in a sort of pre-Victorian setting then I can highly recommend this series.

Mistborn was also very instrumental in helping me understand my own superpowers' dynamics in my comic "The Next Beginning" and not be so afraid of their visibility in my story. See "Divine Hands".

I won't gush too much about this, but I started this as another b-day gift for a friend and was so fascinated by Kaladin, and rooted for him so hard in this scene in the book.

Grove Tortoises Nature Journal Page 2 WIP While I navigate a bout of bad pain and other shullbit, I should take some time to post somethings that I have had waiting in the wing. So have some more Grove Tortoise WIPs. More info will be om my FA and such if I can get to it, or in the Alts.

Artist notes:
Not as much in the way of info as the first page yet, but page 2 is just going to go over their life-cycle: how a young tortoise gets its first sapling, average life-span, and the event of an elder GT's death.

I wasn't planning on this page being double-wide, but in the process of trying to plan out the migration patterns of the different GTs I realized I needed more space for the legend and basic info.

Side note: working on this page made me have to reconsider and adjust the geography of my map, so now I'll need to fix my main map to match this. lol.

Grove Tortoises Illustration

The original piece I did for my fantasy creatures Grove Tortoises. This shot of would-be naturalists documenting the enormous beasts and escorted by rangers was what would go on to inspire me to do the nature journal entries for my spider-foxes/wolves.

Nature Journal: Grove Tortoises WIP

The piece that started me on my whole recording my world building notes as a sort of nature journal was this illustration I did of my Grove Tortoises. It didn't contain any of my notes or give any additional information but it was none-the-less key in helping me visualize the sheer scale of the creatures, and was a fun way to give some context for such a comparison. It did, however, explain nothing about them other than their existence in my world of Fragment.

So after wrapping up the journal pages for my Spider Wolves/Foxes I decided to give the same treatment to my Grove Tortoises but its gonna take me a bit and I figured I would at least give a sneak peek at the first page of the four I have planned.

I will refine the text later but it helps me put things in order for the finished piece. For now, enjoy the glimpse of what is to come. If you can read my handwriting that is.

A tall alien in dark hooded robes points across a cavernous, futuristic space, giving directions to a group humanoids with cat-like heads. The Kif has gray skin, a long dragon-like snout, and red eyes. The Hani have muzzles like lions and ears pointed back.
