Been walking the Norfolk Coast Path (84 miles) as a series of shorter walks. Today was from Wells-next-the-sea to Blakeney with a detour off the path to the Stiffkey Stores for coffee and cake and via Morston Quay for a sausage roll. Total distance today 9.5 miles in fantastic weather 😀

Today was a visit to the Imperial War Museum at Duxford near Cambridge. They recommend to allow at least half a day for a visit - we just about saw everything in 6 hours 😀. Absolutely fascinating and rewarding place to visit. www.iwm.org.uk/visits/iwm-d...

Oh My! Visited a beautiful garden today which I expect looks good in all seasons… the beautiful Wollerton Hall

Beautiful large box balls lining a formal pond also a double row of hornbeam trees (I think)

Purple alliums in a very natural style garden with formal hedging

Beautifully trimmed standard portugese laurels, 7 altogether stand proudly near the old hall

Clipped formal yew and box lead you through the various rooms of the garden. The box as hedging and sculptural balls and the yew as statement tall pyramids
