I have a story out in Fusion Fragment ICYMI!! A fun romp about a cranky old cabbie and a wee lion cub in a city called H. It’s a story that’s rather near and dear to my heart, and I’d greatly appreciate it if y’all gave it a read! 🦁

ICYMI! Reading for the Uncanny Magazine Poll? Try the short story "Pale Serpent, Green Serpent" by Ewen Ma @ewenmaer.bsky.social! You can read it here! buff.ly/2INC09Q
The cover for Uncanny Magazine Issue 64, “Barbershops of the Floating City" by Grace P. Fong: A woman stands facing the viewer, her qipao is a light blue color with flower designs in a darker shade of blue. Her long, black hair trails elegantly behind her while she holds a pair of scissors close to her chest. Behind there is a shadow that looks in the opposite direction, as if she is looking down at the city depicted below. At the top is a sun that crowns the two figures and bathes the entire picture in light. The quote reads: "Our meetings have become ritual by now: me and Tsing, once every few seasons, or years, or decades, or however long it takes for one of us to buckle from the weight of our individual lonelinesses and contact the other first."

📣 New novel announcement: ANNA DREAMS OF A DEAD REVOLUTIONARY is coming from @tinhouse.bsky.social in 2028. When people ask what it's about, I say it's like SOUR CHERRY, except the haunted house is Greece, and Bluebeard is fascism. 🏳️‍⚧️🏳️‍🌈✊ Keep writing your queer, trans, antifascist books, friends.
Publishers Marketplace Deal Report dated 22 January 2026 that reads: "Author of SOUR CHERRY Natalia Theodoridou's ANNA DREAMS OF A DEAD REVOLUTIONARY, about a filmmaker attempting to memorialize his time as a transgender political rebel in 1960s Greece, cycling between screenplay, recollection, and present-day curation of letters and historical documents, pitched as a puzzle-box story of loyalty, memory, revolution, and the ghosts that haunt a nation, to Masie Cochran at Tin House Books, for publication in 2028, by Danya Kukafka at Trellis Literary Management (NA)."

Inside an Anthology: Amplitudes ed. by Lee Mandelo
Today on the site I'm delighted to help offer a peek inside the upcoming trans SFF anthology Amplitudes: An Anthology of Trans and Queer Futurity, edited by Lee Mandelo and releasing May 27th from Erewhon Books! Here's a little more about the collection: Amplitudes: Stories of Queer and Trans Futurity, ed. by Lee Mandelo (May 27th) From self-styled knights fighting in dystopian city streets to conservationists finding love in the Appalachian forests; from social media posts about domestic “bliss” in a lottery-based, state-housing skyscraper to herding feral cats off of one’s scientific equipment; from street drugs that create doppelgangers to dance-club cruising at the edge of the galaxy—Amplitudes: Stories of Queer and Trans Futurity interrogates the farthest borders of the sci-fi landscape to imagine how queer life will look centuries in the future—or ten years from now.
