Respectfully, circular argument. Tech is a problem b/c of people in power + way power is structured + functions w/ the help of tech. I sincerely think the 4-6 months of winter that many Canadians experience should be a SLOW DOWN period where business hours are shorter, work requirements are lighter, and we don't need to drive so much or ignore that it's cold enough outside to kill you. I joined derby in August and I was recruited at Pride. At least locally, yeah, they league and members are very inclusive and supportive and I've got no complaints. I'm far from the only trans or otherwise gender non-conforming player.
