This is not an entry (I have a different idea in mind) but I can't let “Would Betz kiss Odile right on the mouth?” go un-drawn so...

drawing 1: Odile holds Betz chin up to look at their face. Betz is blushing, sweating, their pink threads around them form a heart. Odile smiles smugly.
Odile: Hmmm...sure

Drawing 2: Betz and Odile smooch on the mouth

Drawing 3: Odile turns and walks away, waving a hand as she goes. Betz is beside himself, blushing and freaking out
Odile: Well that was nice...bye...

fun sketchbook spreads... i've missed drawing tsuru in square compositions especially, methinks #riverin-oc #art

A traditional illustration in colored pencil and ink. It depicts Tsuru as a teenager from the shoulders up, surrounded by borders and color blocks. She is wearing a leather jacket and a plaid shirt underneath. She has longer hair pulled back into a ponytail that is swaying behind her. She smirks at the viewer. Small bird stamps are littered across the drawing.

A sketchbook sketch predominantly in green and brown, done on September 19, 2026. The layout has pasted patterned paper, stickers, and drawn elements. The lower right corner depicts a Swablu in green sleeping. Lyrics are written to the right, a translation of Chen Li's song, "Flying Pines (飞松)". The lyrics translation are as follows:

-----
The car keeps moving
My travel companions
Have all fallen asleep
I gaze out the window

Snow turns into flames
Mist turns into nostalgia
Once immersed in it all
Reality and illusion blur

Mountains connect to me, and back to mountains
The city is calling out
After so much overthinking
Let me make a stop along the way

"Don't be shy, detective. I don't bite." #riverin-oc #art #oc

A monochrome illustration of Kenji in a long, sleeveless, split dress that exposes much of his right leg. He is in a suspended position, with one leg extended and the other bent back. One hand is placed on his chest while the other is at his side extended. Kenji is wearing opera gloves and heels. He has accessorized with heart-shaped sunglasses and a beaded tassel necklace that is longer at the back.

The description is titled, "THE DAME" and subtitled "actor : Kenji Matsumoto."

"The alluring mistress of the Briar household. Recently widowed, but oddly cheery. She claims that the victim of the case was an unwelcomed visitor who threatened her. Her staff's testimony is consistent with this story, but there are few signs of a struggle. Can the detective resist the Dame's lethal charm and uncover the truth of the incident?"

BONUS bonus content ... you've seen miyaka's next to each other, now get ready for (arguably) the funnier version of that: both kenji's next to each other #riverin-oc #art #oc

Two sketches of Kenji (Something Lost version on the left, Something in the Night version on the right). SL Kenji looks to the side with an irritated expression, while SitN Kenji looks back with a smug expression.

An arrow pointing to SL Kenji indicates that he is "mostly mild & well-mannered". An arrow pointing to SitN Kenji indicates that he is akin to a "cat who has found someone new to bother."

Their thought bubbles are as follows.

SL Kenji: "Ugh. He's so... irritating?? Why is he even like this? He's exactly like I was as a teen but WORSE? And it feels almost deliberate? Is this to push people away?? I can't stand him looking so smug, how did the detective even come to like him?"

SitN Kenji: "Poor kid still needs to go through his character development, but I can't tell him that. Welp. I'll have fun poking him in the meantime."

happy belated anniversary (and happy pride!) for some of my oldest ocs !! miyaji you will always be famous to me... #riverin-oc #art #oc

A horizontal piece of Miyaka and Kenji, across their "Something Lost" and "Something in the Night" iterations. They are drawn in a chibi style in yellow, green, blue, and pink lineart. Behind each of them is a small background square with their corresponding lineart color. The furthermost background is a dark color.

"12 years of Something!!" is written at the top.

Leftmost: (Something Lost) Miyaka is looking over her shoulder with a cheerful expression.

Second from left: (Something Lost) Kenji is holding his chin in one hand and glancing in Miyaka's direction with a fond expression.

Second from right: (Something in the Night) Miyaka looks directly at the viewer with a neutral expression.

Rightmost: (Something in the Night) Kenji winks playfully at the viewer with one finger pressed to his chin in a cute gesture.

bonus behind the scenes for the main piece..

Something Lost Miyaka and Kenji standing next to each other. Miyaka is gesturing with one open hand.

Miyaka: "It could be, '12 years of Bi4Bi', you know."
Kenji: "Miyaka. >///> "
Miyaka: "What? It's true!"

A panel of Something in the Night Kenji leaning against a wall with his arms crossed. He lifts one finger with a bored expression, conversing with chibi-style dialogue bubble pop-ins of Something Lost Kenji and Miyaka. SL Kenji is annoyed, while SL Miyaka is more compassionate.

SitN Kenji: "'12 years of be gay, do crime' is viable, isn't it?"
SL Kenji: "Vetoed. It's not applicable across the board."
SL Miyaka: "If it makes y ou feel better, I would've put in a vote for that one."

SitN Kenji, SL Miyaka, and SL Kenji crowd around behind SitN Miyaka, who is writing something on a piece of paper with a fountain pen. The Kenji's are curious, where as SL Miyaka is trying to peer over the top of Miyaka's head.

SitN Kenji: "How about you, detective? Any bright ideas from your end?"
SL Miyaka: "I wanna see!"

The piece of paper that SitN Miyaka wrote, reading, "12 years of riverin figuring out their OCs' genders & sexualities before their own."

A reference sheet showing two colored full-body versions of Nia in different layers of her outfit.

On the left, she is fully fitted with a dark, hooded half-cloak. The hood's lining is purple. There is a scarf wound around the shoulder areas of the cloak, draping behind Nia. Nia is also wearing a maroon sailor cap.

On the right, Nia does not have her cap and cloak. This shows a simple dark pink and white dress. She wears dark leggings, pink socks going above her knees, and predominantly white boots.
