⚛️ 🧪 ultra-high 2D doping densities from atomic precision advanced manufacturing fundamentally alter the properties of semiconductors including introducing bands at the Gamma point in Si that could provide a path toward enhanced tunneling for energy efficient electronics doi.org/10.1088/1361...
Left column: band structures for stacked boron and phosphorus delta doped layers in silicon with the silicon thickness between them being 1 nm, 2, nm, and 10 nm. As the spacing between the delta layers increases, the interaction between them decreases and the two bands eventually cross. This spatially integrated band structure gives the impression of creating a direct band gap in silicon, though when inspecting the local density of states plots in the right coming of the image, it is clear that the bands from the respective delta layers are localized and the local band gap remains that of indoors silicon in all places. Want to speak at City Council but not sure what to say? Join our Public Comment Workshop to learn how to give a clear 1-minute comment on the proposed IDO zoning updates. Public input may be limited, so let’s make every second count. 📅 Feb 17 • 6PM • Virtual • meet.google.com/XUG-MXZF-DCG
Graphic promoting a “Public Comment Workshop.” Text reads: “Want to speak at City Council but not sure what to say? We’ve got you covered.” The slide invites viewers to learn how to give a clear, effective one-minute comment on proposed IDO zoning updates. Event details include Tuesday, February 17th at 6:00 PM, held virtually via Google Meet. A callout says “Let’s lift the ban on homes!” and notes that no expertise is required, just care about Albuquerque’s future. Illustration shows a person speaking at a podium.Graphic titled “Your voice matters at City Council.” Text explains that sharing a housing story through public comment helps shape decisions about housing and neighborhoods. Public hearings are listed for Wednesday, February 18th at 5:00 PM at Albuquerque City Council chambers and via Zoom. Additional text highlights support for duplexes, townhomes, cottages, safe outdoor spaces, and neighborhood bodegas. Illustration shows a council dais with people seated behind it.Graphic explaining proposed IDO zoning code amendments. Text states that advocates are asking council to pass amendments recommended by the Environmental Planning Commission. The slide describes goals such as legalizing casitas and corner bodegas, allowing duplexes and townhomes, supporting office-to-home conversions, and creating more affordable workforce housing. It also mentions easier rules for safe outdoor spaces and long-term affordability, access, and sustainability for Albuquerque.
