I grew up next to the longest canal tunnel in the UK, but it was opened up up a few years ago so this is nice to see. I've never actually been on a narrow boat so it's a bucket list holiday. It takes 2 to 3 hours to get through the longest one! Not sure about that one!

I feel your pain. Same person seems to be listening to the Spanish radio or a TV programme a sort of female Jeremy Vine which is also a tinny noise. I mean, have a day off will you, why would you come on holiday to listen to the same things you listen to all day.

In Spain, in mainly a Spanish hotel. 90% fine, kids a lot better behaved. But, there are twats, the world over that are sunbathing by the pool but having conversations on their phone by speakerphone. At full volume. Words cannot adequately convey what I would do to anyone doing this.

With the difference in salaries, it equates to 8%, so with UK media salary being £29k it is roughly £3,100 equivalent too. Surely the Americans are going to to ask how will it be paid for and what will the total debt be after this bribe and the Iran War cost? Aren't they?

We landed at 11pm. Local time. 8 hours in a short haul 737. Bus was supposed to be 3 stops max, obviously everything has gone crazy so we're grateful to be here. But is 01.00 and we are about half an hour away still. A long day. Pity vision flight crew they seemed to be going back tonight.
