No other policy proposal or infrastructure investment has the potential to move the economic dial on this scale in this timeframe. In monetary terms, if used 1-for-1, the proceeds could fund increases to the NHS capital budget for 2 yrs. Enough of empty Brexit rhetoric. Let's fund our NHS instead.

Thank you @hollybancroft.bsky.social for shedding light on the experience our co-director Marzena Zukowska had flying home last month. This is not an isolated incident. A digital-only status means more and more people in the UK will have their rights denied: www.independent.co.uk/news/uk/home...
The Independent headline says 'UK community worker flying from US 'questioned for over an hour' after eVisa refusal. Smaller text below says 'Marzena Zukowska's ordeal at Chicago O'Hare airport is the latest in a series of issues facing foreign nationals using their eVisas while travelling back to the UK. POMOC branded text at the bottom says 'Link to the story in the comments'. In the background, there is a photograph of Marzena taken by Green Tangering Photography. Marz is a white non-binary person with a short haircut. They are wearing glasses.

Five years on, even many of those who still champion Brexit, including Nigel Farage, concede that it has "failed" - so why are the main parties afraid to tell voters they got it wrong?
