Adam Keyte @etyek.co.uk · 01/07/2026@skillagesteve.bsky.social is the 130th minute the new 100th minute? 110
Adam Keyte @etyek.co.uk · 28/02/2026I think this is just your payback for all the times you have to listen to them stress-eating the microphones. Not a job where you can have misophonia, I assume :) 000
Adam Keyte @etyek.co.uk · 28/02/2026Where else would you find this quality of closed captioning? ;) 120
Adam Keyte @etyek.co.uk · 12/01/2026Is it just the way my childish brain works or does this travel advert need better kerning on the font? 100
Adam Keyte @etyek.co.uk · 02/01/2026No, no, it’s just that the kids these days don’t want physical clothing as a souvenir, they want his “E-shirt” in Fortnite or Roblox ;) 010
Adam Keyte @etyek.co.uk · 20/12/2025I was just about to ask if you can ever remember a Starting player A -> Sub B -> Sub C -> Sub D chain before? 100
Adam Keyte @etyek.co.uk · 07/12/2025Quiet over there! I’m trying to build the world’s tallest house of cards to impress an Irish stout company :) 010
Adam Keyte @etyek.co.uk · 03/11/2025“I need your clothes, your boots, and your jaunty train driver’s hat…” 010
Adam Keyte @etyek.co.uk · 16/10/2025I still blame Judith for bringing on the end of the world in Not With A Bang :) youtu.be/lQ-J9aEw6YA 010
Adam Keyte @etyek.co.uk · 12/10/2025@quizzydan.bsky.social today’s impromptu version of Hide And Peake was a bit easier than Westward Ho! :) 110
Adam Keyte @etyek.co.uk · 12/10/2025What better to do on a Sunday afternoon than watch Tom Scott and chums record a live episode of Lateral Podcast? 031
Adam Keyte @etyek.co.uk · 07/10/2025Excellent news, thanks! Although I’m now imagining the two of you trying to narrate an entire UK road atlas, arguing over who gets to read the nice straight Roman roads and who has to describe the Snake Pass. 000
Adam Keyte @etyek.co.uk · 07/10/2025I normally prefer audiobooks, but given it’s all about maps, are there lots of images inside the normal version that I’d miss out on by listening to your dulcet tones? 100
Adam Keyte @etyek.co.uk · 13/09/2025Too good a post for this time of night, when there’s nobody here but us chickens… 020
Adam Keyte @etyek.co.uk · 31/08/2025I was a big fan of this one… www.discogs.com/release/6909... youtu.be/Of9-GRivOUU?...discogs.comLightning Seeds - This Is Radio GoalView credits, reviews, tracks and shop for the 1995 Cassette release of "This Is Radio Goal" on Discogs. 000
Adam Keyte @etyek.co.uk · 21/08/2025Adam’s European tour arrives in Cologne, Germany, where there’s a small little videogame convention going on. I’m sure I can see the whole thing in half a day, right? 010
Adam Keyte @etyek.co.uk · 21/08/2025…it’s a really good job I’m on a strict budget here otherwise I would be spending a fortune in the gift shop! 000
Adam Keyte @etyek.co.uk · 21/08/2025As a sports nerd, it would be rude not to visit the Olympic Museum in Lausanne… 110
Adam Keyte @etyek.co.uk · 21/08/2025(Out of thread note, seems like my posts didn’t upload yesterday. Stupid tech!) …exactly on time, the Swiss rail network delivers me to Lausanne for an evening’s Diamond League athletics. 100
Adam Keyte @etyek.co.uk · 20/08/2025My first time in the Swiss city of Winterthur, famed for being one of the locations in season 9 of YouTube show Jet Lag the Game. But no time to hide in the woods - it’s 10:30am and I need to be on the other side of the country in 3 hours, so I’ve got to go go go… 150
Adam Keyte @etyek.co.uk · 19/08/2025…although even an hour of sightseeing was a luxury compared to the couple of minutes I had in Austria’s capital at lunchtime while changing trains. If only there was an apposite musical reference I could make to remind me that Vienna Waits For Me… 000
Adam Keyte @etyek.co.uk · 19/08/2025Made it across the Polish border too late last night to do any sightseeing, so my planned half-day trip to Brno, Czechia had to be condensed into a 60 minute speed round… 100
Adam Keyte @etyek.co.uk · 19/08/2025…where I noticed the artists on this 1990/ Tommy / Pinball Wizard-branded machine had taken a few liberties when choosing where to place the word “England” on a map 😬 000
Adam Keyte @etyek.co.uk · 19/08/2025Spent Monday afternoon wandering around in Krakow. Lots of important historical and cultural sights, of course… 110
Adam Keyte @etyek.co.uk · 18/08/2025I can currently relate to that, with the added quirk of being in a country where I don’t speak the language, in an otherwise empty carriage, and where the app just sent a notification saying we’ve arrived at our destination when Google says we’re still 10 miles out :) 110
Adam Keyte @etyek.co.uk · 17/08/2025Not sure if whoever built the hotel I stopped in last night is an Ian Wright fan? 010
Adam Keyte @etyek.co.uk · 16/08/2025Definitely doesn’t seem the kind of weather for a flamethrower at the end of every race. Another reason not to be drawn in lane one! 020
Adam Keyte @etyek.co.uk · 16/08/2025Well that was worth the trip already! Keely breaking the world lead in her first race of the season 🥳 000
Adam Keyte @etyek.co.uk · 16/08/2025My clothes have barely dried from last week’s trip, but I’m on my travels again. This time (predictably) it’s to watch some Diamond League athletics in Poland. 020
Adam Keyte @etyek.co.uk · 14/08/2025…so I decided to end my trip the same way I started it in Weston Super Mare a week earlier - in an amusement arcade emptying a cup filled with 2ps into a coin pusher to see if I could win my fortune (spoiler: I did not). 010
Adam Keyte @etyek.co.uk · 14/08/2025One recurring thing I noticed this week was how many seaside towns effectively shut down by 6pm, which seemed self-defeating for tourism. Luckily, Weymouth, my final stop, seemed to understand this, and was still thriving well into the evening… 100
Adam Keyte @etyek.co.uk · 14/08/2025This part of Western Dorset is clearly a good place to play a game of “Westcountry village or West Indian cricketer”. 130
Adam Keyte @etyek.co.uk · 14/08/2025As I took my first steps on Dorset soil, Lyme Regis initially seemed lovely. However, the seafront was a swarm of people, so I made a sharp exit (only just, mind you - the queue for the once-every-two-hours bus was so long I thought I wasn’t going to get on board). 110
Adam Keyte @etyek.co.uk · 14/08/2025I got to Seaton five minutes too late for my connecting bus (a recurring theme). Sadly, the novelty tram in town didn’t lead anywhere that would help me continue my journey, so I would have to stay in Devon another 90 minutes before crossing my final county line of the trip. 120
Adam Keyte @etyek.co.uk · 14/08/2025I always thought Beer was brewed, but apparently it’s quarried! Sadly, I didn’t have time to stop to see if the village store sells Beer-branded beer (or indeed Beer wine). 100
Adam Keyte @etyek.co.uk · 14/08/2025Mark and Lard kept me sane during the various tedious admin jobs of my early 20s. We always used to sing this one to our mate Joe: youtu.be/9wZ86vlXNcM?... Did you go to any of their reunion gigs over the past year? It was great to see them Carry on after such a long Stop… 000
Adam Keyte @etyek.co.uk · 14/08/2025A brief pause in the town of Sidmouth while changing buses, where the townsfolk boast of “the largest jigsaw display in East Devon”. I momentarily ponder who in West Devon has a rival collection to prevent them from claiming the entire county? 100
Adam Keyte @etyek.co.uk · 14/08/2025…I’m sure the village of Budleigh Salterton is very proud of its Britain in Bloom Gold Award and all its pretty thatched houses, but for me it will forever be the place name shouted by Mark Radcliffe in the Shirehorses’ seminal classic Now I Know Where I’m Going (Our Kid). 210
Adam Keyte @etyek.co.uk · 14/08/2025And onto the final day of my trip, where I had just enough time for a quick breakfast in Exmouth before continuing onwards towards a small village that is weirdly evocative for me… 100
Adam Keyte @etyek.co.uk · 14/08/2025Sadly all these delays meant I’d missed the final ferry of the day from the fantastically-named village of Starcross, so instead of a ten minute boat trip over to my Exmouth hotel, I now had another 90 minutes of buses to contend with before dinner. 100
Adam Keyte @etyek.co.uk · 14/08/2025One of the websites I’d checked said that Teignmouth Pier closes at 5:30pm, so I arrived at quarter to six unsure what to expect. Luckily for me it was still open (well, half of it was!), but given the entire town was eerily empty, they may as well have knocked off early. 100
Adam Keyte @etyek.co.uk · 14/08/2025And so a whistle-stop “visit” to Torquay. No time to pay pilgrimage to the town’s most famous celebrities, Agatha Christie or Basil Fawlty, we’ve got another bus to catch! 100
