Thank you, Jaye. It will be a tough battle, indeed. I still put my trust in science and will remain optimistic. I am thankful we live near several excellent medical universities with ALS clinics. All of them are near restaurants I like. A small bonus I will take. Best day to you!

I get it. My friend said cigarettes were her longest and strongest relationship and that's why the breakup was so difficult.

Our town's Southern States was a mile or so from my house and closed years ago. The building is now a marijuana dispensary.

'I hear the approaching thunder that, one day, will destroy us too. I feel the suffering of millions. And yet, when I look up at the sky, I somehow feel that everything will change for the better, that this cruelty too shall end, that peace and tranquility will return once more.' — Anne Frank

I have similar moments myself at times. They are bittersweet. Mom's old rolling pin had a speck of crust stuck on it when I found it four years after she passed. I sat on the floor and had a good, long cry. I sure do miss her flaky pie crusts.

A well-used wooden rolling pin with a small speck of dried pie crust clinging to the surface. Small cracks in the wood show its age.

Dad moment. 💔 He loved his old workshop.

My dad kept (and used) my old Sony system from the early 70s in his basement workshop. He passed, I purchased his house, and now I listen to 8-tracks, 50+ years later, in what is now my workshop.

It is SO blatantly obvious everything that’s happening is because both parties are owned almost entirely by AIPAC. They don’t actually believe in anything. They’re just in it for the money. They will fritter and fetterman away your whole country.

Sometimes, I miss washers and dryers that pause with a slight pull on the knob, and dishwashers with three or four button choices (similar to old car radios). They weren't "smart," but they did their job, and for a long time.

I grieved when my mother was alive but "gone" more so than I did after she passed. I was her caretaker for her final years and she referred to me as "the nice lady who visits."
