It had more muscle than I needed, but I sure did love the color and the 8 track player.

Yes we will! Some have spent their entire lives fighting back.

Good morning, Jim, and I'm grateful you are healing well! Been thinking of you.🩵Here are the crocuses that come up each year just before my birthday to remind me that Spring is coming. Four days!🌹

A fun way to start the day while my pup is still sleeping. Thanks, Jaye! Get your corn. The best-est girl ever. Go get busy. Nap time! Have a fabulous Friday!

Happy New Year, Jim! We just put dinner in the crock pot. Ally scored a black-eyed pea, but luckily her interest in it was short-lived. Enjoy your moments dear friend!

Ally won't be sipping juleøl, but she will gladly help with the baking. Wishing you both a speedy recovery. God Jul!

The first snow is always so cleansing.

Beautiful! Here's my morning in Ocean City, Maryland. Seems like we both started our day watching the same spectacular show. Enjoy your day, Jim.

A beautiful morning. This will be my wake-up view for the next three days.

She's beautiful. We told Reese goodbye last week. She was with us for 14 1/2 years. She and Lily are resting peacefully.

Split picture of a chocolate lab. The top picture is the day we received her at 8 weeks. She's sitting in the front garden looking over her left shoulder. The bottom picture is on her last day with us. She's in the van, laying on the floor on her way to the vet to say goodbye. RIP dear Reese. 💔

We said goodbye to this old girl today. My heart hurts.

I, too, know that joy! I had a new shed put in after my dad died and they dug out his flower beds to lay the new foundation. I was crushed, then these daffodils came up the following spring. Things we love come back to us!

Ha! It reminds me of this little find on a recent shopping trip.

They are! We had one that had to be over four feet frequenting our little garden pond. It would cast a huge shadow when flying over the house and deck to get to the pond. We believe it ate our favorite frog, Blue, pictured here.

A bullfrog sits on a rock overlooking a small pond. Wild strawberries surround the rock. There is a single yellow strawberry flower to the left, and a lone yellow evening primrose fading in the morning sunlight on the right. The frog's legs are green, but it has a bright blue head (almost iridescent) that fades down its back.

I'm also sending positive healing thoughts to your dad and to you. Remember to pause occasionally today and just quietly breathe. I hope you find peaceful moments today.

No rain in the Mid-Atlantic either and it is very much needed. Here's a picture of my dog bringing me a stick on our walk earlier this morning. We, too, can feel autumn approaching in the air. Enjoy your day, Yara!

Our old girl has arthritis and a condition that causes paralysis in her hind legs. She is still our beautiful drama queen and still takes her daily morning walk. The walk gets a bit shorter each day, but she is still a happy pup.
