Sadly you have to pay to read. But look at the age range in the photos. On Saturday it was over 20° where I live in East Anglia and I've struggled this summer, but only 15° where I was born in North Cumbria. Some decisions over the next couple of years.

Times are a changing in the kitchen of Ethel. Had greek yoghurt with ground linseed, a fresh pear and a satsuma for breakfast. I've never been keen on pears but apparently they have a relatively high degree of fibre. So that's that.😊

I don't vote so that politicians can sit muttering to themselves in corners of either Parley or at party conferences. I expect them to grow and demonstrate resilience and balls. I expect them to participate in public debate, be accessible to political journos and be accountable. If not, piss off.

Now covered in insects crawling all over the place and twiggy bits, and I'm starting to react to the ivy I've been picking up. So many ladybirds. God bless WD40. The gate not only opened but locked up again. A good couple of intermittent hours work, albeit just finished as the light fades.

There's a heap of gardening rubbish, a garden gate with a jammed lock, and a green bin on the other side that should be put out tomorrow. I guess I'd better unjam the lock before I have a glass of wine, am let down by WD40 then fall over cos I'm tired. Grunt.
