This is a great example of how much your (non)vote is truly worth, especially in local/primary elections. Corporations try to buy your apathy, because it's much cheaper than what happens to them if people take a few minutes and get to the ballot. Your vote is worth everything, always.

How do I turn all AI off related to what it predicts that I will want to write in the next sentence? In text messages, in word documents, it is literally never right in what it predicts me as wanting to say. EVER. It should just ask "are you conversant in English? I can shut up then."

It would be interesting to see a system of political journalism where issues got coverage based on the number of people directly affected by that issue. Top stories would be the ones affecting the most people. It would be the exact opposite of the anecdotal clickbait model we have now.

One of the scariest things about obsessed friends reporting AI interactions to me: they‘ll often say the chatbot said smart and fascinating things to them, but they can rarely remember what the smart and fascinating things even were. The brain drain caused by AI feels both real and intentional.
