Awful news. One of the best wrestlers I've ever seen, but more importantly whilst his character was often a heel, the man was known to be a proper good guy. A friend of mine actually met him recently and she described him as "just an absolutely lovely man". Something all chaps should aspire to. RIP

One of the things that's a lot of fun with Necromunda is stepping into custom rules for gangs, terrain, etc. As long as you're making things for, and to be, fun, then it's a good time for all. Roaming monsters, toxic hazards, whatever, it's great to mess about with.

On the Necromunda thang, we've changed how our Mechanicus ruleset works for servitors. Previously we had Mindlocked servitors only having 1 action, but that proved problematic with the new N26 rules. Initial testing of this change is working as intended.

I would just get the core rule book and the Gangs of the Underhive book. I've mostly been using the basic Delaque gang from the Underhive book and have often been playing against people using a mixture of the expanded Goliath/Escher stuff. Not had any issues at all.

Yeah it was a lot of books. The new edition appears to be helping with that, as the gang specific books are more about adding options than must haves. Seems that way from the first few releases anyway.

Totally agree. I think this is one of the reasons why my gaming group has switched back to Necromunda so quickly after the initial distraction of a new edition of 40k. The other games are primarily about having fun, rather than mathhammer tournaments.

This is a thing I've long thought about. So much of what GW does with Warhammer is to make for a balanced and happy tournament scene at the expense of casual play. But the vast majority of players will rarely, if ever, take part in that.

Probs going to pause the updating of these older paint jobs now. Have improved the weathering, painted the cables differently, added weapon glows, sorted the metal and grease on the hydraulics. And also changed the decals to one I am happier with. So much more I could do, but time...

I've gone back to my first Knight army (painted in 2020) to improve the paint jobs before I add in a Knight Destrier. Noticed an bit of cat hair stuck in the paint on this weapon coil, so made the coil neon green & glow, then painted the hair white and extended lightning from it crackling around. 😂
