I managed to fix my electric bike tire today. By that I mean this was a project started *yesterday* and only just now finished because changing an inner tube in an electric bike tire is the worst thing ever. If I never have to do it again, it will be too soon. My fingers hurt.

Nyx @eternanyx.bsky.social · 10/10/2026

Woke up early because I wanted to go get jeans and a tire pump for my electric bike, yknow, so I could fix it to use after work instead of walking on tired feet. *Only to remember on demand doesn't work on saturdays* ffffff- I COULD HAVE HAD MORE SLEEP BUT NOW IM AWAKE

Going from a job where I could go in when I wanted to, to a job where I just have to grin and bear it, is definitely a learning curve. Still my mood has been far better. I might even regain my willpower to draw! Here's hoping.

I don't normally like asking like this, but I don't really have an option. Because of switching jobs recently, I'm finding myself not where I want to be for food and bills. Any help I could get would be absolutely lovely. ko-fi.com/eternanyx

Baffles me that people try to pass off their creative writing as 'canon' when it's like Dude, you are not the original creator. That makes it fanfiction BY DEFAULT lmao

Imagine being so dang proud of your little bot that wasn't made for this work, that you don't bother to double check that it said anything correctly. All because now it means you don't have to have actual people work on anything. LLMs are a guessing machine. Good job guys.

This is probably a thought I should have had... oh... yknow /much/ sooner But it's finally settling in that no one is going to be able to fix things in my life but me. So I gotta be the one to kick my own butt into gear. Even if that means doing things that trigger my anxiety something fierce.

Nyx @eternanyx.bsky.social · 28/08/2026

That is... a fantastical cheat code, thank you hahaha

Forgive my language but it's been bad shit on top of bad shit AND I started the day with a fucking anxiety attack from hell. Today has not been my day.

Nyx @eternanyx.bsky.social · 20/07/2026

I'm so ready for summer to be over. I'm tired of being unable to think because of how hot it's been.

011

Nyx @eternanyx.bsky.social · 09/07/2026

Oh good lordy I can feel the headwave comin The sunlight mugs me on my way home from work. I'm *melting* today. I was not built for heat but it's the only damn job that pays something *not* minimum wage fff-

Nyx @eternanyx.bsky.social · 08/07/2026

Ew, I can imagine. I hope all that settles down soon.

Immanent heat wave makes little tin box VERY ICKY lmao Hopefully I manage to find a good enough fix to survive this summer so there won't be too many skips. Looking at cold-air fans that hopefully will work

Since I feel like sharing. Here's a couple other shots I took for our Satisfactory session yesterday. I'm really getting the hang of the game's photo mode. Though sometimes Spud and Dad still beat me hahaha It's a challenge, now xD

🟢 Jade Shadows: Constellations 🔴 I was invited back by the amazing @warframe.com team to create 3 new illustrations for Jade Shadows: Constellations! I absolutely adored Jade & Stalker’s story in Jade Shadows and it meant so much to get to paint Sirius & Orion to continue their family’s story ♥️💚

An epic battle between Sirius and Orion from Warframe’s quest Jade Shadows: Constellations. Orion bearing downwards, wielding his scythe, his red flames cascading down. Sirius looking up, resolute as he meets Orion’s scythe with his own weapon, his own green flames roaring upwards.

I never want to experience power going down again. What a kick in the rear to really get my head into the right space to focus. I've had the most exhausting, and most stressful few days. Felt like I was going mad just trying to stay entertained. Napped most of it off when I wasn't on the phone.

please understand. artists don't get nearly as much feedback (praise, comments or otherwise) as you think they do. much less than years and years ago. we don't know how much you like it. we don't know how it affected you. unless you say something, or recommend it, comment, reblog. anything.
