Creatives have "knee-jerk" reactions or we are "howling," when we're simply using our creative brains to take and state an ethical stance and be unambigous about our preferences. We're not "afraid," we simply prefer to collaborate with other humans.

Last month I finished drafting my first novel centering a boy. (It might be my favorite, shhh). Waiting on feedback from my agent and hoping/planning to sub soon (after summer breaks). Lots of concerns about editors acquiring MG, but I'll be here, writing the next book.
