iiinova — where your digital self keeps evolving

Sadly, I think seeing the world is on indefinite hold thanks to the rise of American Fascism, but the point stands. Look around you. There are fantastic things to see and learn all around you. Go, stuff your eyes with wonder.

No words can truly express how badly this is needed right now.

GODDAMN I FORGOT THEY PLAYED ROCK YOU LIKE A HURRICANE FOR BILLY'S INTRO

On to Season 2, and i had forgotten about the powered kid in the City. That plot line just got abandoned didn't it?

And Jonathan nailing Nancy with a bullseye with the suburban girl comment, GODDAMN.

When asking her to do something she clearly doesn't want do, Brenner asking her if "that's okay?" NO, and you know it's not, you monster. Matthew Modine really knows how to inspire conflicted feelings throughout this series.

I'm rewatching Stranger Things from the very beginning in prep for the final season later this year. These were just BABIES. I miss the babies.

I think Ketanji Brown Jackson's dissents are an important exception to the "Supreme Court dissents don't matter" rule of thumb, because she is using them not to argue with the conservative justices, but to explain to the public that the conservative justices are liars and in the tank for Trump

Ketanji Brown Jackson Is Telling the Truth About the Supreme Court

The task of interpreting the law is inherently “political.” But no justice has been this comfortable saying so in public.

SOPHIA, why the impossible questions lately??? What Dreams May Come, for all of its devastation, is way up there.

I miss having plants around the house, but Inara, specifically, would obliterate them 5 minutes after bringing them home. So I bought some fake ones. Not expensive, but as long as you don't look too close, passable lol. Once I finally get my shelves finished and everything in place, pics.

Never underestimate a Med Surg nurse either, bonus points for Neuro MS.

Well, that is certainly an accent choice, Crispin Glover.

Started binging Cabinet of Curiosities today. I'm playing catch-up on nearly a decade of television now that I have a good TV. So far, I really enjoy it, and why didn't it get another season?

I'm just now watching the Sandman series, because I needed time to try to separate art from artist re:Gaiman. These books and stories saved me as a kid. Im so angry that they've been tainted. But. The performances here, the imagery. Ive cried so many times today because they're perfect.

Whew. "Calliope" is a massive self own here.

She has been utterly entranced by this episode. I think I'm watching her more than the episode.

I've been binging season 1 of the Sandman today, and I've cried my eyes out twice. They did such a good job with casting. The episode where Dream accompanied Death on her rounds just devastated me.

Man oh MAN did I love me some Ministry and Al Jourgensen.
