It's now gone like this... Given it's almost an hour after sunset and this is looking westwards, I can only think that the illumination is the reflection of the sunset on the sea...
An evening sky; while generally dark blue, clouds are illuminated on their underside and lit violetly/pinky/purple.

... and from here, too.
Post sunset sky, ten minutes after sundown.

Across the bottom is a line of silhouetted trees; bands of clouds, highlighted in vivid orange with grey rise towards a broad orange swathe before the fade to grey at the top. Just below the middle is a small gap with a streak of blue sky shows through.

The sounds that were caught in here...
A three storey brick building with two rows of four windows. The ground floor has three windows in line with the upper floors and a door in the bottom left corner.

All the windows have white painted stones above them. The ground floor brick work is painted black.

To the side of the door are two heritage plaques.

A sign running along the top of the black section reads 'STRAWBERRY STUDIOS STOCKPORT'. The A in Strawberry has been replaced with a ... strawberry. Two round metal heritage plaques mounted on the wall of the former Strawberry Studios, Stockport.

The top one relates the history of the group 10cc who recorded in the building.

The lower one reads:
'STOCKPORT HERITAGE TRUST

STRAWBERRY RECORDING STUDIOS 1967 to 1993

Home to the band 10 cc and used by many to create memorable music, including Joy Division, Paul McCartney, Martin Hannett, Neil Sedaka, The Stone Roses, The Smiths and The Syd Lawrence Orchestra

A view of a park.

A large grassy area is bounded by trees on the far side, with a tree closer on the left side. A generally clear light blue/grey sky above has a touch of cloud on the right.

Across the grass, there is a band of white mist.

More mist and less mellowness in Manchester...
The view south down Deansgate with a verticality of buildings; tall ones in the distance disappear into mist.In the foreground, a man stares at buildings. A glazed office block reflects a band of brightness while behind it, an incomplete building disappears into mist; it's higher levels lacking windows. Behind the van, two closer buildings made of sandstone frame the modern newer ones in yellowy-brown, their lines of perspective drawing the eye towards the unfinished building looming over them all.

Does this even make sense??

I Spy Autumn. Mists - 5 points Now looking for mellow fruitfulness...
An early morning park. Across the grass a tree line is silhouetted against a light blue sky. Grey clouds above are edged with pink along their lower sides.

A slight haze may be visible above the grass.

New second hand record shop has opened in Kendal (Revolving Eye, in the New Shambles)... ...rude not to have a mooch, at least, and came out with these. Lost my Levitation cd a while back but, bizarrely, the sticker on the back of this one looks really familiar...
A record and four compact disc cases displayed on a bench.

At the back is a 10" Bark Psychosis single ('A Street Scene'), an image of coloured blurred lights in a dark environment viewed through a wooden window frame. The art is credited to David McKean.

Leaning along the bottom of this are two cd cases; on the left, a bizarre collage that is Levitations first proper album, 'Need for Not' and next to it, a grey and white drawing of a skull that is the cover of Bonnie 'Prince' Billy's 'I See a Darkness'.

Lying flat are two more cd cases: on the left is a painting of emblems on a beige background being the cover of David Sylvian's 'Gone to Earth's and next to it, an abstract multi-coloured design for David Toop's compilation, 'Ocean of Sound'. Coincidentally, both of these were designed by Russell Mills.

I appear to be in the middle of a Robin sing-off between this fellow & another hiding over the way. This one's been on the fence, in the tree, round the apple branches & on the grass. Not had a lot of birdsong round here for a while, or maybe it's been too wet for me to be outside to hear it?

Moon photos, earlier.
A night sky: the full moon shows as a round, bright featureless disc in the top left. Above the moon is a small cloud, backlit white. To the right side is another cloud, looking like a tide about to break, white towards the edges, but darker greys as well. The rest of the sky is a dark blue with few smaller clouds and no stars visible.A full moon rises behind a layer of cloud which obscures its lower third. The rest of the sky, like the cloud, is black while the moon is a browny-orange, varying according to the plains and the higher ground.

Describe your bluesky account in a single image. (My phone has eaten my preferred response).
A rectangular sign with a red background and in white writing 'CHANGED PRIORITIES'.

The March bookpile. The New York trilogy there was only a third done before I turned a corner walking to work in Manchester and found myself in a snowy New York film set near Harter Street; somewhat disconcerting...
A pile of books with their spines visible. Behind is the inside of a gatefold album sleeve: the album is 'Velvet Underground and Nico'.

In no order, the books are:

Patti Smith Just Kids
Haldor Laxness The Atom Station
Bob Dylan. Chronicles vol 1
Alain-Fournier. Le Grand Meaulnes
Peter Owen Jones Pathlands
Rob Jovanovic. The Velvet Underground Peeled
Derek Jarman Pharmacopoeia
William Shakespeare. Henry V
Jude Rogers The Sound of Being Human

Today looks damp and cooler; have this picture from yesterday instead.
A line of bare trees in the distance, on the other side of a grassy area, are silhouetted against the early morning sky. The sun, just off centre, is slightly obscured by a high, thin light cloud; airplane contrails cross the sky and, in a gap between the taller trees, a parallel band of darker clouds starts to form.

View from a hill, earlier.
Shafts of sunlight stream down from a cleft in the grey cloud, highlighting spots in a valley. Foreground is dark and undefined while the far distance is a misty mountain skyline.

Post a picture you took (no description) to bring some zen to the timeline.
The post requires that there be no description of the image; therefore, as a zen exercise, please substitute a timeline cleansing image of your own choosing. Thank you.
