First layers of paint are down. I’m utilizing Enlightened Art Supply’s Dark Feminine Goddess Acrylic palette-so the dark background is her Persephone color. You can find Enlightened Art Supply on Etsy at the moment as she updates her direct website. Link in comments.

Today’s audiobook- 1984 I never read this one in high school like a lot of my friends did. So as an adult it’s interesting to me that I might take away different things than a HS student. Or would I have been even more “radicalized” by now if I had read it back then?

Today’s documentary on DOX before my free 7 days are up… Toni Morrison: The Pieces I Am I’m finding that I’m missing huge parts of literature in my life, and that includes everything this woman wrote. The drive she had too in creating these works is amazing.

Today’s documentary on my 7 day free trial of DOX Joan Jett: Bad Reputation Seriously…she’s amazing and everyone should watch this!

I realized yesterday that the only holocaust story I remember reading was Anne Franks diary in middle school, so I’m trying to fix that. And it just hits different when it’s in this format vs reading articles or seeing short videos on it.

Switched to the Libby App…now listening to “Night” by Elie Wiesel. It was on a list I saw on TikTok of books to read right now before you can’t anymore.

Today’s audiobook: Percy Jackson and the lighting theif The only thing I’m not liking is how the reader pronounces “Percy” like “Piercy”

Dabbled in hat painting for a Christmas present for my sister-in-law this year. It’s synthetic wool, so burning wasn’t easy or too pretty…and I might need to try a fabric softener mix with my paint next time so it’s softer

Tell Congress: Don't Ban TikTok.
