actually deeply sick of hearing Terf Island jokes from anyone who isn't actually living here and understands what that shit actually means, other trans people included its insane that the shit we have to live with here has been turned into a gag on the same level as making fun of beans on toast

Spent all vacation worrying that the people I’d meet wouldn’t like me. They liked me 😭. Could’ve enjoyed my croissant in peace Rejection sensitivity part 1/4

Panel 1
Comic titled “Rejection Sensitivity Explained.”
The ADHD Alien character stands beside another person who responds casually with the words “Oh, thanks.” The reaction is neutral and calm. The ADHD Alien character looks worried and overthinks the interaction. Caption text reads: “When people react neutrally to me, I think they secretly hate me.”

Panel 2
The ADHD Alien character sits curled up on the floor in a dim room, looking anxious and overwhelmed. The caption reads: “It’s like my logic turns off and an emergency mode turns on.”
Thought bubbles show spiraling worries: “I must’ve done something wrong.” “I need to figure out what I did wrong.” “Did I overstep?”

Cis allies loudly declaring support also helps push back on one of the main goals of the anti trans movement, convincing the world that hating trans people is Normal Every random cis person going "well duh i'm chill with trans people who isn't" means that idea can't spread

For my @bigfinish.bsky.social story, Dark Watchers of California, I chose to place my main character Susie in the emotional aftermath of the Compton Cafeteria Riots in San Francisco in 1966. Because this is a very big part of queer history that I don't think gets a lot of attention.

I was not expecting Return of Ultraman episode 37 to mess me up that badly, at least 38 was really hype but like.. what a fucked up episode

Are you fucking kidding me, as far as I'm aware I've somehow managed to dodge COVID for over 3 years, despite working in a supermarket when loads of people stopped wearing masks... Why did it have to come now...

Working doesn't feel like the best idea today when I'm feeling completely drained of my will to live, but I'm stuck here already. My patience is non-existent and I'm at risk of snapping at someone. Thankfully my dickhead manager isn't here because I'd gladly lose my shit at him...

I'm glad that the Doctor Who 60th anniversary isn't a Multi-Doctor story so far, celebrating non-TV stories like The Star Beast works so much better than just throwing Doctors together for fan service. I'd be more okay with Multi-Doctor stories if they had a story that needed it thematically.

An important character in the most recent episode is trans, the episode features some in universe transphobia but characters push back against it. It also helps that RTD and Tennant returned (only for 3 eps in Tennants case) so it has a gay showrunner and a lead actor who is very openly pro-trans

I sure do love that my co-workers were shit talking me behind my back about stuff I'd offered them a good solution for already, literally explained exactly how my ADHD and Autism impact me, offered solutions and they just completely ignored that in favour of being dicks about me...

They were pretty good about it before when they stopped getting Dreyfus in to play the Master because of his transphobia, but that situation blew up a lot more because of how public and vile Dreyfus was being about his transphobia, most of Baxendale's is shown through his liked tweets

Not sure how I feel about the idea of getting the Tenth Doctor Chronicles boxset from Big Finish next month, 3 of the stories are written by people I have no problem with, and the story by Una McCormack is likely to be great as always, but I'm deeply uncomfortable with buying something that contains
