I played this too. It’s a nice 8/10 I would say and feels like a PS2-era character action game which, honestly, is not a bad thing for me. Regardless of that, the tech is quite good with excellent image quality.

I'm more worried about the IQ of gamers. BluePoint posted on their site they were moving on from remasters and remakes. They had three projects fail since Demon's Souls. 5 years nothing in the pipeline. They were not "told to do live service", it was their pitch.

Food for thought... There's a lot of talk about speeding up game development, given how many recent games took 5-7 years to make. But many of those were hampered by the switch from Unreal 4 to 5. And ALL of them lost months to covid. Perhaps one way to make games faster is to not have a pandemic
