Every player I've ever talked to who's played for the Mexico City G League team has said the arena and fans are great but it's an absolute nightmare logistically and elevation-wise and would never be viable for an NBA team. This is one of Adam's most confusing fixations, to me.

The Camas thing has made me so sad. All of the anti-transgender activists disguised as journalists running to both vilify and incite harassment of a KID. It’s immoral. Kids were shot at a Bend school today and it’s not getting half the attention as a freaking high school cross country race.

Said this on the pod with @highkin.bsky.social last night but all this “trial basis” stuff does is extend the shelf life of a story that highlights their incompetence. Aside from Travis deserving better, if I were them, I’d just want to wash my hands of it and have the story cease being a story.

With his increased quickness it’s pretty clear Hansen should be the third big. Carlson’s hustle is notable but he’s not a factor at the rim like Hansen. Throw in the playmaking for Hansen and it’s clear he should be the third center.

Based purely on minutes in preseason games Yang Hansen seems to have the edge over Branden Carlson in the third center battle for the non-Clingan/Timelord minutes. He looks so much more comfortable on the floor against NBA players than he did at any point last season.

Would love to know if fans who watched the London Lions and Blazers game in England and elsewhere abroad were also watching the game on the NBA app with no commentary, clock or scorebug. Not a great look for the NBA as a product if you were trying to win new customers.
