I got my first YES! After years of writing, editing, completing my MFA, I got a ‘yes’ for my poem, The Keeper, from Nat1 Publishing to appear in their anthology, TPK, coming out this March! And yes, D&D and other ttrpg fans, the anthology is about exactly that…dumb decisions our parties make…

So true! I don’t have a lot of books. There are some I keep, but most get brought to a local used/new bookstore. I tend not to read any that I buy-at least not right away. Some I’ve had for 2-3 years. One I had for 8 years before giving up on ever reading it. Credit to A Sprinkle of Fairy Dust.

I’m not that far in, but I’m enjoying Drive Your Plow Over the Bones of the Dead. It was written by Olga Tokarczuk, translated by Antonia Lloyd-James. Her writing style has something poetic about it. The use of capitalization in some words within sentences brings a different meaning to the text.
