With some help, it clicked in my brain that the reason I struggle to write is just imposter syndrome. I've always had it, but now that writing is my job, it's been amplified by a ton, making me feel like I'm not cut out for it despite logically knowing it's what I'm best at.

I was able to make a decent amount of progress in my current commission tonight, but it still felt like pulling teeth. However, when I went to work on my novel for the first time in a week, the words flowed so freely it convinced me that I haven't been struggling to write for X amount of months.

The one time I used weed was probably the most at-peace my mind has ever been. I wasn't overthinking anything, and I was able to focus on the things in front of me. Given how much I've been experiencing resistance to writing, I'd love that sense of calm back without the use of weed, somehow.

I’m trying to actually play and finish games I’ve had but never played to the end and avoiding replays and new games, so no FE and no SC remake for me for a while. After finishing Final Fantasy and Ys 9, my next game is Breath of the Wild, which I’ve been intimidated by for years.
