Note to self: avoid British Airways wherever possible. If a divert happens, wherever they end up, the crew should at least stick around long enough to shepherd their passengers. KEF does not operate 24/7. I'm actually surprised they had immigration personnel there to process them. What a cluster.

The way I read it is California settled their lawsuit against the Ellison's merger plan on nothing more than a pinky swear. Once they folded like a cheap lawn chair, no other state really had the resources to pursue further litigation. This has no upside unless you're an Ellison or a Trump.

Dolly is preceded in death by her beloved husband of 59 years Carl Thomas Dean (1942 – 2025), her mother Avie Lee Caroline Owens (1923 – 2003), and father, Robert Lee Parton, Sr. (1921 – 2000).
