It's time to end Ontario's era of "Tall and Sprawl". Our archaic building code rules have resulted in housing that is uglier, more expensive, and with fewer units that make sense for families. By changing the rules, we can build communities more beautifully and affordably.

Why is Doug Ford fighting with Toronto over bike lanes? The city has already invested heavily in cycling infrastructure, and Bike Share Toronto is at record-high ridership. His plan will cost taxpayers across the province millions and won’t do anything to improve congestion.

Grade inflation is out of control. A horrible spiral where standards slip –> grades go up –> university cutoffs go up –> teachers feel pressure to give higher marks. It's time to end this government's era of falling standards – let's reintroduce standardized testing.

In Ontario, many of us were disappointed that; 1. Doug Ford cancelled municipal ranked ballots 2. We haven't proceeded with electoral reforms Eric, @ericlombardi.ca is committed to both with citizen input. There are many ideas to get excited about #Onpoli #OntarioLiberals

Form a binding citizens' assembly to select a new electoral system. Pass legislation to create the assembly and implement its chosen system by the next election, guided by two simple principles: every vote must count, and local representation must be retained.

Empower ministers and MPPs to do great work and be accountable for it. Cut cabinet to no more than 15 ministers, reduce the size and gatekeeping role of the Premier's Office, and restore real authority and accountability to ministers and the Legislature. Encourage serious private members' legislation, stronger committee work, and better scrutiny of spending, appointments, and public agencies.

Allow municipalities to choose alternative electoral systems. Open the door to ranked ballots and other voting models that improve representation, accountability, and voter choice.
