I've seen the name on a bunch of old punk fliers but never knew what it stood for. Apparently C.O.D. was for "Come on Down" because the club was in the basement. Also learned that the building held the office of a pediatrician I DID NOT LIKE. Sorry for kicking you in the nuts that one time, Dr. T!

Just learned that Beck's grandpa Al Hansen was a member of the Fluxus collective with John Cage and Yoko Ono. He also managed the Screamers Whose logo was drawn by Gary Panter, who made art for the Pee-Wee Herman show with his wife Nicole Panter, who also managed the Germs
