I've seen the name on a bunch of old punk fliers but never knew what it stood for. Apparently C.O.D. was for "Come on Down" because the club was in the basement. Also learned that the building held the office of a pediatrician I DID NOT LIKE. Sorry for kicking you in the nuts that one time, Dr. T!
