Yeah. I mean Uber and Lyft (e.g.) had enough time to really dig themselves into their markets in a way that got people to start thinking of them as part of the urban transportation net. If they'd hit an adoption wall and hugely increased costs in a fraction of the time, they'd never have survived.

The tech will remain, but unless OpenAI / Anthropic / Meta / Google can somehow buy enough time to dig in further and dramatically increase everyone's level of dependence (i.e., truly become "too big to fail", as they hope), the services as we know them now won't survive the collapse of the bubble.
