ericforest.bsky.social @ericforest.bsky.social · 19/11/2024I’m really enjoying being reunited with all the people I used to follow on Twitter. It feels like running into old friends. It’s very like: “Oh wow, it’s William b fuckley! It’s been so long!” 020
ericforest.bsky.social @ericforest.bsky.social · 09/05/2024It’s very weird the administration finally withheld some arms shipments to Israel and there’s been no reaction one way or another. 010
Reposted by @ericforest.bsky.socialMallorie Malcontent ✨ @sweetbeanscomix.bsky.social · 01/05/2024X-Men 97 is the best show on television right now. Comics fan or not, do not miss this one. Just had to doodle my own version of this. 112318
ericforest.bsky.social @ericforest.bsky.social · 30/04/2024Just caught up on x-men ‘97 and it’s crazy how the mutants founded their own nation to escape persecution in their countries’ of origin only to be ruthlessly attacked by the same forces that threatened their lives originally. 100
ericforest.bsky.social @ericforest.bsky.social · 26/04/2024FINALLY saw dune 2. I Agree with the reviews: visually incredible but the plot can’t avoid the problematic white savior story of the book, and becomes a mess trying. But I had a great time just watching. 000
ericforest.bsky.social @ericforest.bsky.social · 24/04/2024There’s a lot of back and forth about the Columbia protests, and it makes me think about when trans refugee activists interrupted Obama during an event. Liberals were sympathetic but they said it wasn’t the time or the place. 110
ericforest.bsky.social @ericforest.bsky.social · 23/04/2024Watching masters of the air finally and it’s very strange. Everyone in band of brothers looked like some dude who’d be a dad after the war, but in masters of the air they cast Austin butler, the most attractive man alive. He’s too attractive! It’s weird! 000
ericforest.bsky.social @ericforest.bsky.social · 23/04/2024My dad: it really bothers me that these protesters would label me as some evil Zionist when I’m not even that pro- israel Me: dad, when I was growing up you told me if the Palestinians had the means they’d kill every Jew in Israel Dad: yes? That’s not Zionist that’s just an objective fact 000
ericforest.bsky.social @ericforest.bsky.social · 21/04/2024Really enjoying Unclear and Present danger, it’s a podcast with Jamelle Bouie and John Ganz that looks at the political context of 90’s movies. It’s great for me because I saw those movies when I was a kid so I know them well but I was too young to get the politics. 010
ericforest.bsky.social @ericforest.bsky.social · 21/04/2024Just killed death in vampire survivors. Wish I could do that IRL. I need a new game now but nothing’s really jumping out at me. 000
ericforest.bsky.social @ericforest.bsky.social · 21/04/2024I’ve only done replies up to this point because I figure no one would read an original… skeet? (Gross) but people in my replies keep accusing me of being a robot so I guess I’ll start posting. 010
