As every year, speakers will be invited to contribute to a thematic SI in the journal Passion. The organisers from the 2025 Paris workshop “Emotions and Attachment” are still accepting full papers from contributors that did not make it to the event (up to 9,000w). Deadline 20th February!

In the intro, the editors explain the guiding metaphor of the issue: emotions as 'stars' (discrete, stable entities) versus 'constellations' (interrelated, dynamic configurations). They also do a very useful lit review on the metaphysics of emotion which can be an excellent teaching resource /2
