Happy to have been interviewed for this article! Along with other philosophers I admire - Myisha Cherry and @meenakrishnamurthy.bsky.social 🙏💪 Embrace the Outrage, Canadians🔥 www.theglobeandmail.com/life/article...

Rage is the new Canadian mood. And there’s a strong case for staying good and mad
National rage might be just the emotion we need right now, but, as history tells us, there’s an art to anger

It's world philosophy day, so post your favorite thing about philosophy. Mine is that philosophy has never had disciplinary boundaries. Every other field has always been within our purview. Anyone who tells you different has to ignore millennia of examples.

This book could only succeed because so many people encouraged me, and then so many philosophers lent their expertise so generously in their discussion of these thought experiments, making it a very rich book (as one negative Amazon review put it "thought experiment overload").
Cover for "Philosophy Illustrated" with Oxford University Press, showing Neurath's boat, the experience machine, and Zhuangzi's butterfly. Illustrated and edited by me.

Ok, I need to know. How do you see the good collaboration between philosophy and social sciences? Philosophers won't test claims about the causal relation between an A and a B. So, what's our impact? Where should we invest our forces if we want to be relevant for social sciences?
