meet the protagonist for my upcoming game! i dont have a name for her yet tho, im still figuring that out..

This is absurd. The red supergiant Betelgeuse is the bright feature in this image. But that darker blue splotch is a *companion star* that's just been discovered—and it orbits so close to Betelgeuse that it's inside the larger star's outer atmosphere.
