eops @eops.bsky.social · 22hWell, that was fun. Big up to Hattie, who brought the energy and led the dancing. There's going to be some awkward insta video of me dancing on the horizon. Good times. 070
eops @eops.bsky.social · 02/10/2026I am very excited for tomorrow because I am going to play D&D with my best mate, who I met 42 years ago through a shared love of Dungeons & Dragons. Feels very full circle. 3160

eops @eops.bsky.social · 30/09/2026I used to love the old guy in the chair. Dunno why that appealed to a 10 year old. 130

eops @eops.bsky.social · 30/09/2026I will allow you to pick and choose after you have listened to the entire work of art a few times. I am not a monster but you need to take an album as a whole for a few listens. It's what it was made for 100
eops @eops.bsky.social · 30/09/2026In fairness, I saw him do that on vinyl, and it was more impressive 110
eops @eops.bsky.social · 30/09/2026Now there's a lot of that album to skip but the story is better in full.static.klipy.comPink Floyd The Wall: Iconic Marching HammersALT: Pink Floyd The Wall: Iconic Marching Hammers 000

eops @eops.bsky.social · 30/09/2026I'm a vinyl guy myself, so I won't tease you again. However, if you really appreciate the art of an 'album,' I would say you need to give every track a decent number of play throughs to really get the record as a whole. But you do you. 000
eops @eops.bsky.social · 30/09/2026'You can't buy single tracks'? Man. Wait till you find out about iTunes, Spotify etc. You mind is gonna blow. 100
eops @eops.bsky.social · 30/09/2026I always loved Fitter Happier - I think it's really evocative. 110
eops @eops.bsky.social · 30/09/2026You are missing the point. If you buy an album then it is meant to be experienced as a whole. Otherwise buy single tracks. 110
eops @eops.bsky.social · 30/09/2026Id skip every track on Use your illusion so its different for me. 010
eops @eops.bsky.social · 30/09/2026He certainly did need a edit but I cant say that song was bad. His version is OG great too IMO. I do get overplay though so you get a Hall Pass because to have overplayed it you must have experienced it often enough to know its value. 020
eops @eops.bsky.social · 30/09/2026YOU READ THEM ANYWAY. This is how it should be done. I suppose once you have experienced the entire thing a few times I will allow you to highlight but people who just balk at being uncomfortable for a few minutes are missing out imo. 010
eops @eops.bsky.social · 30/09/2026See I have grown to love it. Went to a friends house and they had edited it out of their playlist and it felt all kinds of wrong. Ringo was a quarter of the Beatles, he is important. 110
eops @eops.bsky.social · 30/09/2026I love the Prince cover and for the life of me cannot understand how you ended up with a copy of American Pie if you hate American Pie. 120
eops @eops.bsky.social · 30/09/2026I suppose once youve watched, listened and read a dozen times you might be tempted but so many people seem to skip past anything that challenges them instantly. Streaming & iTunes have made it acceptable I suppose. 000
eops @eops.bsky.social · 30/09/2026I know you hate this track, bloody Ringo, or whatever, but sometimes these are the tunes you grow to love. Also, it feels like skipping chapters in a book. You wouldn't do that, would you? WOULD YOU? OH GOD, DONT ANSWER THAT. I know this will be fiercely argued, but you should try to play whole LPs 5210
eops @eops.bsky.social · 30/09/2026While I'm getting things off my chest... lots of talk about 'albums with no skips'. I get the sentiment, but it says a lot about patience and music appreciation. When I spent all my money on an LP I dragged my ears through every track. Because that is how albums work. Skipping tracks is kinda sad. 10573
