They mention all over the place in advance if the USA is closed for day & its apparently been a few weeks that Canada has been closed to orders. I’m on all the mailing lists and checked the bsky feed and saw no mention, so it was quite surprising that it’s just closed until…whenever

Lightning McLeems 𓃸🇨🇦✨ @eolis.bsky.social · 01/10/2026

It’s kinda crazy that it’s just closed to orders with no re-open date mentioned & the only way I found out was from a banner on the site. Will there still be pickups in Calgary after a move? Where is it moving to? When are they back? Thats why I am wondering if I missed an email or notice somewhere

Even if the distribution in Canada closes they should still be available through some resellers I would expect. probably gunna be more expensive though Q.Q

110

Lightning McLeems 𓃸🇨🇦✨ @eolis.bsky.social · 01/10/2026

That I know, kinda odd that one of their larger North American regions seems to be closing? Maybe, who knows? Not much info. Not great timing for babs when its expensive & inconvenient to ship anything between Canada & the USA. Diapers don’t have tariffs, but gas prices make it really pricey 💸

010

Lightning McLeems 𓃸🇨🇦✨ @eolis.bsky.social · 01/10/2026

“Moving warehouses” would imply they still have anyone in Canada on staff, which they don’t. Pretty sure they’re gunna ship it all to Amazon warehouses, I am just confused about the lack of messaging. To be fair I don’t look through all their emails in my junk folder so I could have missed it.

020

Lightning McLeems 𓃸🇨🇦✨ @eolis.bsky.social · 01/10/2026

Did anyone get email notices? I may have missed one on the CA location closing… They seem to be running on minimal staff & locations, using resellers or amazon for distribution. Constantly out of stock of most their sizes & inventory, not on top of basic website maintenance. Looking pretty bad 😬

Lightning McLeems 𓃸🇨🇦✨ @eolis.bsky.social · 01/10/2026

Anyone know whats up with ABU Canada? Site says orders can’t be placed since Sept 17th, website seems to be kinda broken (“best sellers” just renders “example product title”) Is there still an ABU Canada or have they closed yet another region? UK, Mexico & a US warehouse have all closed, now Ca?

WAVE (1994) Acrylic on Canvas - 48” x 48” Of all the paintings hanging in my home, this one probably elicits the most comments. #art

An exponential curve expressed as a massive wave of green-blue water that climbs to vertical against a sky of puffy lavender clouds. Light breaks through the cloud cover just over the horizon casting a flat glare across rippling water before the wave climbs. Fin-like ridges emerge running up the wall give the water turbulence and dimension.

The image is of a four panel comic.
The first panel shows Sarah, the protagonist, holding a red ball labeled "A SILLY MEME".
The second panel shows Sarah taking the ball and going through a door labeled "GROUP CHAT".
The third panel shows a group of women sitting together and consoling one woman in the center. The woman in the center is saying "...And that's how it happened. It's been the worst day of my life."
The fourth panel shows Sarah standing in the doorway behind them awkwardly holding the red ball.

Bumble shark plushies! She's so fuzzy 😭🐝

A photo of Humlehaj, the bumble shark, being held by two arms up in the air against a background of sunflowers and a traditional red Swedish house. Humlehaj is a hybrid between bumblebee and shark, and has therefore a fuzzy body and brown and yellow stripes, as well as small bumblebee wings. She looks like she is ready to buzz away and towards the sunflowers! If only those hands would let her go... Free her!!!

A photo of Humlehaj, the bumble shark, being hugged sweetly against a person wearing a striped t-shirt. There are some sunflowers in the background. Humlehaj has two hands cosily hugging her against the person's chest. She is such a cosy cuddle buddy!

Humlehaj has been caught again in this photo, and is being held against someone wearing a dark brown coat while she is pointed outwards, her fins sticking out a little.. Humlehaj does not seem to mind much, though, as she is smiling and as round as ever. One could even say she loves a good play session!
