I used to live in red state Arizona and I can tell you that people in red states hate CA and NY. They’ve been trained to have knee-jerk negative attitudes towards those states specifically. People in red states simply don’t care about anyone living in CA or NY. They don’t even see them as Americans

Corporations justify decisions like this by saying it’s far leas expensive and customers don’t care. Problem is, customers say they don’t care until they get a product made by companies that don’t care, then they stop paying. Any savings from not paying voice actors are negated from lost profits
