I feel like I've become numb to a lot of horror stuff (discounting cheap jump scares getting me). That said the last RE game I played was 7 and it did get me...until suddenly it turned into an action game and stopped being scary haha. So I guess that one got me at first.

I think the original resident evil remake on the GameCube would be my answer too. Played it when I was like 12 or something, rented it and my dad, sister and I all played it to the end. As a kid that game freaked me out haha. Probably wouldn't feel the same now but at the time it did scare me so...

What did she mean by this??????!?

my monstergirltober day 7 the chupacabra is a cryptid from north and south america, originating in puerto rico, that sucks the blood of goats. In the 70s to 90s in puerto rico, the chupacabra was the theory on mysterious livestock found dead with what looked like teeth puncture marks.

Sprites I made for @rathaelos.bsky.social birthday. It's an understatement to say that I owe a LOT of my growth as an artist thanks to working alongside him for half my professional career. This past year especially has been some of the most fun collaborative work of my life.

Four pixel art characters in a 2x2 grid pattern. Top left is a white girl with a green bob cut and a red sweater. Top right is a grumpy blonde white boy with a black hoodie. Bottom left is a confident, chubby dark skinned boy with puffy black hair. Bottom right is a cheerful pink haired white girl with a baggy yellow sweater.

I am many days behind but I decided to do my wife's ( @mametchi.bsky.social ) monster girl list haha. Just a rough cleanup of a sketch, I kinda got tired when I got the shoes. I'd probably change stuff on this design if I were to ever draw her again haha. But I still think she came out cool.

my monstergirltober day 5 the nue is a yokai from japanese folklore with the head of a monkey, limbs of a tiger, body of a tanuki, and a snake for a tail. Its cry sounds like "hyoo hyoo" and it can shapeshift into a black cloud.

The one I'm playing doesn't (just a couple cat guys) but I know some of the others do. I do plan on playing the first one sometime!

I'll fix it for her 🩹

Good taste tbh both great bands! I...don't even remember how I found Refused anymore it was so long ago. Probably on our music tv channel late one night in the early 2000s when they'd play the good stuff (when I was supposed to be sleeping). Formative music years 😂

my monstergirltober day 5 the splintercat is a creature from US folklore that jumps headfirst into trees, breaking them open because they're looking for raccoons and honey to eat. However doing this all the time gives them a huge headache so they're always in a bad mood

Finished one side of the story in star ocean 2R. Almost done with the second one, then I will do a third run only getting the characters I actually like haha so then I can do the postgame. Good game I like how brisk the other runs are cuz I skip story stuff I've already seen.

Refused is one of my favourite bands haha! I love them so much, bought tickets to watch their final concert online and felt emotions haha. No prob!!!

Hmm...could be Final Exit. They also had some offshoots that the frontman had like International Noise Conspiracy, INVSN. Some alt names were Lost Patrol Band. There is also AC4. Samurai was their alias for Cyberpunk and then Backengrillen is their newest thing.

I'll probably hop back into gamemaker soon enough. Gonna feel mega rusty but I've had it on the brain again so that must mean I'm mentally starting to emerge from my funk haha.

Hey everybody, thank you for all the continued help thus far, I’ve received some very generous donations that have legitimately helped me to afford food as of late as well as other expenses and I am seriously so thankful 🥹 every bit of help counts no matter how small, so I really appreciate it 💛

I started playing Star Ocean 2 cuz it was on sale for switch 2. It's fun so far. Even tho he has a signature sound that is similar across lots of games, Motoi Sakuraba knows how to make a good catchy tune. His battle themes just hit the ears in the best way haha.
