Some sights on our travels today.

Loch Lomond with a few trees making a swim for it under darkening evening sky

Dramatic gorge hills staying guard over blue Loch Leven under blue sky with a few wispy clouds, which obviously couldn't be bothered to form into larger ones.

Gray Mares waterfall. Spray. Rocks. Trees. If you look closely, wires as they allow tours to climb up the falls. Why would anyone want to though?

Glenfinan: the Harry Potter viaduct. And the monument to the Bonny Prince Charlie uprising, which started here, and got as far as Derby but then finished off at Culloden.

Glenfinan. Bonny prince Charlie raised his standard here in 1745 and marched on England.

When I packed for road trip to Scotland with son, I had to pack my stuff plus 50%. This is because he does what he always does: packs one pair of shorts and one pair of jeans (along with t shirts etc).
