I'm delighted to announce I will be making my research presenting debut at this event with HRB-Trials Methodology Research Network Ireland in Galway this November! I can't wait to share my experience of being a disabled Irish Traveller & why that representation is important within clinical research!

I'd like to write about people sharing location tracking with family/friends/partners. There're good & bad reasons for doing this (depending on circumstances/vulnerability/trust etc) I'd like to hear different scenarios. If folk are up for talking to me please DM (can be anonymous if its sensitive)

Today marks 23 years since I had my bone marrow transplant, I'll always be so grateful to my donor 💚🫶🏼 Here's to another year of living my life in the best way possible - giving out, being a disability rights activist and writing stories that deserve to be heard and seen within Irish media 💚

Delighted to see this outcome! Fair play to all those who were involved in the campaign, its amazing to see what can happen when disabled people and the wider Irish community come together to fight for better rights for people with disabilities! 👏🏼👏🏼

Stop giving family members of disabled people a platform over disabled voices. Family members are important but we should not be prioritizing them in media stories about issues affecting disabled people. If you can't find a direct link, find a DPO. Find an advocate with the same disability.

Please join DFI, IWA & Access for All on 28 Feb at 1pm at the Garden of Remembrance, Dublin. Disabled people are the most forgotten community in Ireland. Many of us are struggling with the rising costs of living with a disability. We don’t deserve this added stress caused by government inaction.
