And I’ve done very in the little of the way of work since December. But I have stopped to smell the flowers, watch the clouds and admire the birds & their songs. It’s been nice.

Eliot joined the family in March. He’s a fucking asshole, also has “probably” had IBD which largely hasn’t been believed (because why would I end up with two non-related golden retrievers with an identical stomach issue).

Dough is my nemesis, but I remembered I've got a recipe from Morito that turned out OK ish. so I thought I'd give it a go using my Gozney (my cooker is shite). turned out *AMAZING* the long batons are Leek and Feta Gözleme, which are Ok but not as great as I thought they would be.
a pile of slightly singed Gözleme (Turkish calzone) are piled on a cooling rack, in the background a blue Le Creuset kettle rests on the closed cooker lid.trays of cooling bread rolls (slightly singed they came out the pizza oven) sit ontop of a closed cooker. the blue of a kettle can be seen in the back right of the picture

And when you don’t have a huge amount to spend on rent, what you’re really dealing with is an absolute fucking shithole (see attached) or the prospect of having to give up your pets. Before you ask, no, I’m not OK with any of this.

Look, I'm not an economist, but I am a systems thinker, and I *knew* the next move would be for China to make a move on the US assets they own, which is a metric fuck ton. I could see this coming from a mile off. I bet they're wishing they were the ones who own Agent Orange instead of the Russians.
Screenshot from a BBC article (the grammatical error is not mine)
There is been speculation some foreign countries, such as China which owns some $759bn of US bonds, might start selling them.
Mr Saravelos said: "there is little room now left for an escalation on the trade front. "The next phase risks being an outright financial war involving Chinese ownership of US assets."
But he warned: "there can be no winner in such a war. The loser will be the global economy'

If a reaction to whatever the f*ck that performance by the US administration was last night was a photo, I feel like this encapsulates it perfectly. Eye roll AND side eye all in one go, it's a mood.
Weirdo, a lilac grey burmese cat, lies on a pink oodie, in the sunshine of the conservatory. One of his paws outstretch towards the camera, his whiskers are puffed out and he is giving both side eye and eye roll. One of his rear paws is hovering near his ear. It is as they say, a mood.

After. Fewer primary, secondary and tertiary navigation options. Simplified structure that is easy to navigate on desktop, mobile, with screen readers and assistive tech (we tested with JAWS, NVDA, Dolphin and Mac voiceover)
After. The new RNIB shop website with the Education and braille, and Home and leisure primary navigation sections open, each primary section has a maximum of four secondary navigation sections.

Before. The navigation was chaotic, over duplicated and complicated. Products were duplicated across the board. Oh, and it wasn't particularly usable on mobile devices.
Before. The RNIB shop navigation, showing the Braille and labelling, and House navigation exposed. The secondary and tertiary navigation options were stacked ontop of each other without sufficient spacing in some places, and excessive amounts of whitespace in others.
