I have an a1 mini. It’s more than enough. Modeling wouldn’t be an issue depending on what you plan to use it for. Can find lots of things for free/pennies. For functional prints you would be using a cad software. If you’re familiar with illustrator it’s easy to pick up.

Can’t infringe IP except for the work it was already trained on. I get it. I am biased because it’s my job on the line obviously but the more we feed the beast “for fun” or “just to experiment” the more Altman can go asking for more money.

I bought a bambu lab a1 mini a few months ago. It’s pretty much set and forget and very cheap for the quality. Highly recommend

Free stl/3mf here www.printables.com/model/846565... I’d have a look at a 3d printing company like this makeitquick.co.uk (never used them myself) or with a bit of luck might have someone local to you. If it costs more than £170 you could get a printer instead :)

I think it helps not being a fan. Makes them more enjoyable when you don’t have strong feelings about the lore. I quite liked them all. Including the Bobba Fett one. (I like SW but wouldn’t be queuing at the cinema)

Sorry that’s happened to you but it made me chuckle. I was reminded of this time I could not lift my foot of the throttle because my car would die in mid traffic. Braking with left foot was not fun.
