Late night.

Illustration of the interior of a modernist building. The walls are covered by large abstract paintings. A lady wearing a cocktail dress is walking up the stairs to the bedroom. A man is downstairs looking out the window his back turned. There’s a pair of elegant women’s shoes by the door.

Pancakes

Humorous illustration of a father and son making crepes in the kitchen. The boy is cheering excitedly, the man is holding an empty pan, looking worried. They are both looking up towards the ceiling where the pancake probably disappeared.

I wanted to draw a car and ended up spending ages on drawing the background building...

Bright summer day. Young couple having a conversation while leaning against the hood of a an electric car. The car is parked on the grass in front of a modern home. The house has a modern, futuristic shape. There are a couple of mid century furniture armchairs and a large canvas in one of the rooms. Through the glazing you can see the back garden featuring planting and a rock wall.

I don’t have any more recent art to show, so “here’s one I baked earlier” (please read this in a Mary Berry voice)

Illustration of a spaceship interior. It’s a cosy mid century inspired interior, with very few spaceshippy details. Feels more like a lounge. A young boy about 7 holds his dad’s hand and points out excitedly through the giant window at the planet they are about to visit. The mother sits on a sofa contemplating the scene while remote piloting the ship’s approach on a transparent tablet.

I have got an arm for my non pro Cintiq 22 which was a game changer. It allows me to get it in a very upright position so I can lean back or even stand and have replaced the keyboard with a Clip Studio Paint tabmate that I can hold in my lap etc. For Photoshop I read good things about tourbox.
