I hope so too! Tbh even the most defined parallels are still.... not the most well done. Ishgard is definitely a theme park exoticized version of vaguely-médiéval france, and people still deny how much of garlemald draws on russia (or thavnair/india, doma/china, ronka and aztec/maya/inca mix)
