There is a trending pattern on Ravelry right now called simply "The Garment." The text for it reads "Let the Garment envelop you; experience its heft and splendor." It is essentially a turtle-necked floor-length poncho with tassels at the bottom. It is the designers only pattern.

Picture from the pattern page as an example of the glorious garment you can knit. It is a man standing on a bridge back towards us, looking out over the wayer towards the far away city. This is so lovely and true. A few years back, I went on an ocean sailboat. Though I’d had Dramamine, I was so, so sick. On our way back to shore, a pod of dolphins raced and leapt alongside the boat. I — white, clammy, and nauseated — still made these sounds of joy and wonder upon seeing them.
